Paul Croft's entrepreneurial spirit was evident early in his life. Raised in Two Harbors, Minnesota, he excelled both academically and athletically during his youth. Not only was he a standout student in high school, but he also shone as a hockey player. At the young age of 14, he made the varsity team and was ranked among the top 30 players by age 15 across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Despite a severe injury at 16 that fractured his L2 and L3 vertebrae, his resilience pushed him not only to recover but to excel, eventually being recruited to play hockey for the Air Force Academy.

Paul's academic path included studying Industrial Engineering and Business at the University of Minnesota Duluth and, later, General Studies, Accounting, and Business at the University of North Dakota. His hard work culminated in him being recognized as the #6 financial intern nationwide by "USA Today" in 2002, a prestigious accolade given to only 44 out of 1,500 interns.

In 2008, at the age of 27, Paul embarked on a significant venture by founding Croft Enterprises, LLC, amidst one of the most challenging economic climates in U.S. history. His unwavering focus on creating value paid off, and by 2017, the company was flourishing in major cities across the United States. Croft Enterprises became known for its comprehensive services in tax consulting, tax planning and preparation, financial consulting, and more, effectively securing clients' economic freedom and security.

Diversifying Success

Beyond Croft Enterprises, Paul Thomas Croft expanded his entrepreneurial reach by founding and leading multiple successful startups and ventures. His innovative spirit led him to establish Rhino Onward International (ROI), focusing on green energy solutions like concentrated solar power, water desalination, and green hydrogen. As the founder and executive chairman, he is committed to empowering clients to achieve their decarbonization goals, aiming to position ROI as a global leader in the sector.

Furthermore, he ventured into the insurance industry with Emerald Life, Inc., helping businesses and families safeguard their futures through diverse insurance products. His leadership roles as Founder, Executive Chairman, and CEO highlight his dedication to providing robust financial solutions.

Culinary and Cultural Ventures

Paul's passion also extends into the culinary world. He is a partner at Komo Chicago & Esco Bar in Chicago's West Loop, where a fusion of Japanese and Latin cuisines offers an unforgettable dining experience under the guidance of Executive Chef Macku Chan. Above the restaurant, the Esco Bar thrives as a vibrant cocktail lounge and nightclub, celebrated for its Latin-flavored electronic dance music.

Record of Achievements

Throughout his career, Paul has demonstrated an exceptional ability to grow businesses. He impressively expanded a tax practice from 37 to 2,000 clients in five years and has facilitated sales of approximately $2 billion in life insurance over 22 years. His early career accolades include being a top-10 intern at Northwestern Mutual and receiving various awards, underscoring his commitment and skill in his field.

Philanthropy and Community Service

In 2018, Paul partnered with CHOICE, a non-profit organization that aids people with intellectual disabilities in finding employment by providing jobs that offer them dignified income opportunities. His humanitarian efforts also include supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of his ex-wife's grandmother.
